Great tips. I’d also add installing a programmable thermostat to the list. It’s a really easy way to save energy.

Don’t just use reusable bags at the grocery store – take them out shopping with you all the time and you soon won’t have any plastic bags! Sure, it might be a bit geeky to walk the mall with a canvas sack, but it’s better than picking up several plastic bags along the way. Green Living

Be careful with what kind of energy saving light bulbs you choose, though. Normal energy savihg light bulbs contain mercury. LED lamps on the other hand, does not. Plus, they are more energy efficient than low energy light bulbs.

Totally agree with this post. Everyone should try to save energy. I would like to add one more that everyone should fit energy saving light bulbs. They can save $80 over the lifetime of the bulb.
